With growing pressure on public budgets, Manchester Council was keen to identify the potential for sponsorship to deliver a new source of income to enable it to deliver its public service obligations.  We were appointed to review the commercial potential for a number of council-owned properties, if they were to be offered to the market as sponsorship opportunities.  Our audit of the properties’ rights and benefits, alongside our review of marketplace precedents, has provided the Council with the evidence and insight with which to make informed strategic decisions regarding sponsorship strategy.
